Horner compares ‘sensitive’ Verstappen to Hamilton

Christian Horner has claimed Max Verstappen is “more sensitive” of criticism than he might appear to be, whilst comparing the Dutchman’s approach to racing to F1 greats.

The Red Bull team principal believes some of the negativity the 27-year-old receives is “unfounded”, defending his style by drawing parallels to some of the most-celebrated drivers in the history of the series.

Russell identifies key Verstappen advantage over F1 rivals

George Russell has highlighted a critical factor that helped carry Max Verstappen to his fourth-consecutive F1 drivers’ championship.

The Mercedes driver pinpointed the Dutchman’s ability to maximise his performances and extract the best available result on any given weekend, something he says rival drivers did not do this season.

FIA stewards explain Piastri penalty in McLaren F1 title blow

Oscar Piastri received a five-second time penalty at the start of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, damaging his entire race. 

The McLaren driver was penalised for being in an incorrect starting position, having been marginally in-front of his P8 grid slot.

Hamilton expresses fear over Verstappen and Red Bull

Lewis Hamilton believes Max Verstappen and Red Bull will remain a formidable opposition to overcome in F1 next season.

The British driver feels beating the 27-year-old in the drivers’ championship will be a considerable challenge because Red Bull “probably started earlier” with the development of its 2025 car, presumably called the RB21.

Bottas shuts down Red Bull link: ‘People there don’t like me’

Valtteri Bottas has ruled himself out of a drive at Red Bull, insisting there are people within the team who hold ill feelings towards him.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit’s line-up for next year is still unknown, despite Sergio Perez being under contract.
